Experiential learning component: Includes the student volunteer experience at (Pharmacy) to use their volunteer experience to explore an issue/topic about the negative impact of Prescription Drug Advertisement on consumers cost and health side effects. Ways to gain a knowledge about an issue related to health and human services. The purpose of this experience is to provide the student with an opportunity to integrate the knowledge from the classroom with real-life experiences in a health and/or human service organization. Student completed 20 hours of volunteer work at a pharmacy. Basically what I provided above is the requirement for the volunteering to gain background experience related to the topic. I completed volunteering hours at the pharmacy and my topic is about the drug advertisement (commercials) issue in the united states and how the Prescription Drug Advertisement effects the people and their health side effects.
